I hope you will enjoy your visit to London. However, I fear that you may be
disappointed with the British Museum shops as there is now only one,
Jessops. Classic Camera and Rare Camera both closed and although the manager
of Rare Camera, David Slade, set up his own business, Museum Cameras, sadly
he died earlier this year and the shop closed down.

I particularly like the Japanese Leica copy cameras, so if you encounter an
Alta, Elega, Honor, Melcon or any of the other scarce models, do let me
know. I also collect Nikon rangefinder original instruction books and
literature, so again, if you can find me any English language examples in
good condition, I would very much like to hear from you.
